Private lessons with independent instructors cater more to the individual while private lessons with instructors from a franchised institution focus on the curriculum of the studio & not necessarily of the needs of the student.

Group classes consist of multiple students, and teachers have a set curriculum. Private lessons are ideal for learning technique, while group classes are perfect for developing social skills, ensemble work or partnering.
